The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport is a Dutch ministry. This ministry is primarily responsible for public health. This includes policies related to hospitals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare costs, and general practitioners.
The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport organized an event called 'Healthcare of Tomorrow'. Many people from the medical world were present, including doctors, health insurers, etc. They wanted to show in a 'setting the scene' video how healthcare would look in a utopia - a situation where everything is perfectly managed and communication between all systems runs smoothly - to start a conversation about how to achieve this.
We chose to create an animation that depicts the patient journey within this utopia. For this, we wrote the script ourselves based on input from the Ministry.
An animation of 2 minutes and 50 seconds that was used as the opening of the "Zorg van Morgen" event. Following this animation, a conversation was initiated to explore how this utopia could be pursued.
