Kinderopvang werkt! is committed to everyone who works, or wants to work, in childcare. By positioning the sector as essential to children's development and as an attractive field in which to build a career, the organisation works together with the industry on greater quality, job satisfaction and professional pride. With practical tools and solutions in the areas of employment conditions, career development and healthy working conditions, Kinderopvang werkt! contributes to a future-proof childcare sector.
For SZW / Ontwikkelpad Kinderopvang we handled the full video production. We created two authentic interview videos with real childcare employees (not models), complemented by fitting atmosphere and on-the-job footage.
In addition, we edited three short social snippets per interview (six videos in total), so the renewed Ontwikkelpad could be promoted across multiple channels. The content added more diversity, recognisability and credibility to the campaign stories.
Our approach began with a kick-off meeting with KOW. They arranged the location and coordinated with the childcare centre on which children could and could not appear on camera. We then created a clear call sheet and briefing for both the crew and the location, so everyone could start the shoot day well prepared.
On the production day, a cameraman, photographer and producer were present. Alongside atmosphere and on-the-job footage, we recorded two interview segments with female professionals, without showing their faces, as this wasn't necessary for the story.
In post-production we edited and processed both the videos and the photography, cut social snippets from the longer edits, and finished everything with audio, colour correction, graphics and subtitles. Finally, we exported all content in the right formats for multiple channels and delivered a complete content set, ready for rollout.
