The VVS is the industry association for Dutch producers of animal proteins and fats. It was founded by Sonac (a part of Darling Ingredients) and Ten Kate Holding to serve their joint interests. This includes matters related to (inter)national laws and regulations, as well as ensuring quality and (food) safety.
VVS wanted an explainer video for their website to explain animal residues in by-products.
After a meeting with the client, our copywriter created the script. Once the script was approved, we began working on the storyboard, based on an illustration provided by the client. Since the style of the video was already decided, we focused on elaborating the storyboard instead of creating styleframes. After receiving feedback and approval from the client, we started animating. Together with our sound designer, the client recorded the voice-over. With the addition of music and sound effects, this all came together to create a beautiful video and a satisfied client.
